For the adhesion of polyolefin materials, it is generally believed that the reason for the difficulty of adhesion is the lack of polar groups, so a variety of surface treatment methods have been proposed to increase the polarity. In addition, due to the weak boundary layer, a low-strength area is formed on the surface, so corresponding processing methods are also required. The reason why polyolefin is difficult to stick is its low surface energy. If the surface tension of the adhesive is less than the surface tension of the adherend, it is possible to achieve a satisfactory bonding effect. In short, with the development of bonding technology, people's research on low-energy surface materials such as polyolefins is developing towards high-strength adhesives without complex surface treatment. In the development process, the diffusion theory was applied to the design of adhesive molecules to achieve satisfactory results.
