At present, this process has been widely used in the industrial production of compatibilizers (compatibilizers) to improve the problem of poor interface compatibility between substrates and improve composite materials. Compatibility and dispersibility of fillers, related products can be used in the fields of halogen-free flame retardancy, filling, bonding, alloy compatibility, etc.

 

When PE-g-MAH is used for bonding, it can also be called adhesive resin. It can connect the PE layer and the barrier layer (EVOH, nylon) in the multi-layer co-extruded composite film or sheet, or become Excellent bonding agent between aluminum, iron and other metals and PE.

 

The bonding mechanism of PE-g-MAH hot melt adhesive is due to the hot melt adhesive modified and grafted with polyethylene as the main material. Its molecular chain includes both polar and non-polar groups. The main chain -(CH2-CH2)n-The non-polar group has good compatibility with the polyethylene layer. After heating and melting, it can be integrated with the polyethylene resin layer, and the polar group of MAH grafted on the main chain The cluster can form coordination bonds with the metal after being heated and melted. Since the metal surface will contain a certain number of hydroxyl groups, it will react with the acid anhydride groups in the grafted modified polyethylene to form a certain amount of chemical bonds. After cooling, it can have a strong bonding effect with the metal layer, and it is not easy to separate and Sliding, so as to have a better bonding effect on the polyethylene resin layer and the metal layer, and improve the stability of the use between the plastic and the metal.

 

The research of PE-g-MAH hot melt adhesives has become a hot spot in the field of hot melt adhesives. However, in the process of modification research, we must adhere to the principles of low carbon, energy saving and environmental protection, and keep up with the needs of new material research, development and application. .
