Both natural and synthetic adhesives can be used in the packaging industry. Compared with synthetic adhesives with superior performance, natural adhesives still play an important role due to their low price, easy removal and environmental protection requirements.

The continuous strengthening of environmental protection awareness and safe use concept has prompted the packaging industry to use solvent-free adhesives. The hot melt adhesive is sprayed, and it can reach satisfactory strength after cooling.

With the continuous improvement of adhesive bonding performance, technological progress in bonding technology will have a positive impact on the selection of packaging materials and the improvement of packaging processing equipment. Recently, the environmental protection requirements of the packaging industry and the high-speed requirements of manufacturing and assembly production lines are the two major directions for the development of packaging adhesives.
