Special Material for Polypropylene Melt Blown Nonwoven Fabric

2020.04.13

Non-woven fabric, also known as non-woven fabric, is composed of oriented or random fibers. It is a new generation of environmentally friendly materials. It has many advantages such as moisture resistance, breathability, flexibility, light weight, non-combustibility, rich colors, easy decomposition, and recyclability. It is widely used in agriculture, chemical industry, building materials, packaging and medical and health industries. The industrial production of melt-blown non-woven fabrics began in the late 1960s and early 1970s. At that time, only existing polymers could be used as raw materials, and the melt flow rate MFR was mostly 12 to 35 g / 10 min [2]. The current melt flow rate of the raw materials has reached 1200 ~ 1500 g / 10 min. In recent years, with the increasing demand for non-woven fabric supplies, the demand for its special resin raw materials is also increasing. The main raw materials for the production of non-woven fabrics are polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), nylon (PA) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), among which PP is the most widely used. The melt flow rate of PP melt-blown materials introduced in this paper is 1200 ~ 1500 g / min, and its production materials are mainly PP powder and peroxide.
