The Influence of Molecular Weight of Nylon

As forNylon tougheningsystems, most of the research focus on the study of toughenerelastomerswhile the study of nylon as a matrix is rare. In the actual production process, nylons with different viscosities were found to have certain differences in the impact properties of nylon toughening materials produced by the same formulation system and the same production process. The impact property of both high and low nylon viscosity toughening materials are better than medium viscosity. So it requires research on the substrate nylon in this system.

The polymer will cause brittle-ductile transition (BDT) directly so as to affect the final properties of the material. According to research, high viscosity nylon will cause the temperature decrease in BDT.
