Thermoplastic elastomers have both the characteristics of rubber and thermoplastic resins, and can be made by chemical polymerization and mechanical blending. Dynamic vulcanization is the vulcanization of rubber and resin during melt blending. Under the action of high-speed shear stress, the vulcanized and cross-linked rubber particles are dispersed in the resin, the rubber micro-zones provide elasticity, and the resin provides plastic flow at the melting temperature. Dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomers are composed of rubber and resin (polyolefin) components, which can be divided into the following four categories according to the polarity of the components: non-polar rubber and non-polar resin; polar rubber and non-polar resin ; Non-polar rubber and polar resin; Polar rubber and polar resin.
